TTF Old Oak’s Southern Belle SH, NAJ

Reba is our first experience with dogs from English bloodlines. We absolutely love her personality, calm demeanor and phenomenal bird finding abilities. Reba is Rick’s main hunting dog and she has put up thousands of pheasants for him and those he has guided. Many who have hunted behind her are so impressed with her abilities in the field that they have purchased her pups - these puppies have not disappointed their owners! Reba is a methodical worker in the field who is not to be rushed - a good steady pace that allows her to find all the birds and work all day for many days in a row.

Reba has obtained her Senior Hunter title in hunt tests and is on her way to her Master title, however her talents are best appreciated in the pheasant field. She approaches her agility work with her same unhurried attitude which made her a wonderful girl for our niece, her child handler. They have had a wonderful time training and competing and need one more pass for their Novice Agility title.

Reba is 21 inches at the shoulder and usually tips the scales at about 50 pounds. She is a lean athletic dog who produces similar puppies. Her offspring are usually in the field hunting when they are still pups of under a year (many by 6 months) and show the British line natural hunting abilities. Not only do they shine in the pheasant fields but also in the duck and goose blinds.
